artist statement

My work examines structures of order that organise perception – in ornamental patterns as well as in urban markings and spatial interventions. I am interested in order as something made: inscribed, functional or culturally shaped. Across different series, these structures become perceptible through repetition, layering and intervention, and are experienced as relational systems.

Order is not only built or inscribed – it is also emotionally inhabited.
